Peter6 Whitney (Peter5, Josiah4, Josiah3, Jonathan2, John1), born Tolland, Connecticut, 31 Oct 1776; married Edith Davis; married 2d Sybil Ainsworth. He was a blacksmith. He died in 1838; resided Hartford, Vermont.
