Nathan Whitney (Charles), son of Charles and Polly (Heywood) Whitney, was born 1800, Barretston Plantation, ME, and died 1870.
He married, 1831, Hope, ME, Clarissa Knowlton. She was born about 1811, ME, and died after 1870.
Children of Nathan and Clarissa (Knowlton) Whitney, if any, unknown, although the 1840 census suggests a daughter born 1835-1840.
Notes
His widow Clarissa may be the Clarissa Whitney who had her intentions of marriage published 22 May 1872, Alexander, ME, with Samuel Walker, "both of Alexander".[1]
