James⁷ Whitney (Aaron⁶, Levi⁵, Daniel⁴, Jonathan³, Jonathan², John¹), son of Aaron⁶ and Olive (Lund) Whitney, was born 8 Jul 1808, Amherst, NH, and died 22 Mar 1868, Calais, ME.

He married, 1 Sep 1833, Great Falls, NH, Julia A. Dorr. She was born 18 Apr 1813, Acton, ME, and died 2 Apr 1863, Calais, ME.^[1]

He was a machinist. He resided Calais, ME.
