John Dudley8 Whitney (Jonathan7, Jonathan6, Joseph5, Benjamin4, Joseph3, John2, John1), son of Jonathan7 Whitney and Lucy (Parks) Whitney, was born about 5 Feb 1804, Watertown, MA, and died 10 Sep 1874, Acton, MA, aged 70 years 7 months 5 days, of dropsy, shoemaker.[1]
He married, 9 Mar 1826, Cambridge, MA, Elizabeth Doughty,[2] daughter of Jonathan and Elizabeth (Ross) Doughty. She was born 5 Feb 1804, Yarmouth, ME, and died 30 Dec 1885, Concord, MA, aged 80 years 11 months 8 days, of old age.[3] John and Elizabeth are buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Acton, MA.
