Stephen Sherwood Whitney (Ebenezer, Moses, Ebenezer, Samuel, John, Benjamin, John), was born 04 09 1833, Maine, and died 07 01 1898, Waupaca, WI.
He married 01 27 1859, Dayton, WI, Minerva W. Gleason, daughter of Loren and Mary Gleason . She was born 03 1858, New York, and died 07 01 1929, Tarpon Springs, Florida.
Stephen served in Company B , 14th Regiment of Wisconsin Infantry in the Civil War. He and his widow received a pension.
