Phinehas Whitney, parentage unknown, was born 1 Dec 1776, as recorded in Phillips, ME,[1] but actual location may be elsewhere.
He married, 18 Aug 1803, Sidney, ME, Mary "Polly" Crommitt. She was born 1 Jun 1778, as recorded in Phillips, ME,[2].
They resided Phillips and Presque Isle, ME. Phinehas died 10 April 1848, and Mary died 3 December 1853, both probably in Presque Isle, ME. Both are buried in the Fairmount Cemetery in Presque Isle.
