Gilbert C.9 Whitney (Henry8, William Henry7, Henry6, Benjamin5, Daniel4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of Henry8 and Lucy (Sprague) Whitney, was born 23 Sep 1856 [infant], Adams, MA,[1] and died 24 Feb 1881, North Adams MA, age unknown, of consumption.[2]
He married, say 1877, Libbie Burlingham, daughter of Albert and Electa (-----) Burlingham. She was born about 21 Jul 1857, Hoosick Falls, NY, and died 30 Sep 1878, North Adams, MA, 21 years 2 months 9 days, of consumpton.[3]
Children of Gilbert C.9 and Libbie (Burlingham) Whitney:
i. Lucy10 Whitney, b. 19 Mar 1878, North Adams, MA; d. 9 Aug 1878, North Adams, MA, aged 4 months 20 days, of cholera infantum.[4]
