Ezra⁶ Whitney (Ezra⁵, James⁴, John³, Jonathan², John¹), son of Ezra⁵ and Mercy (Morse) Whitney, was born 29 Aug 1759, Douglas, MA.^[1]

He married, 5 Mar 1788, Brookline, MA, Betsey Marshall,^[2] daughter of William and Mary (-----) Marshall. She was born about 27 Jan 1762, Boston, MA, and died 13 Apr 1855, Boston, MA, aged 93 years 2 months 16 days, of old age.^[3]

Ezra owned the covenant at the Hollis Street Church, Boston, MA, 31 May 1789.^[4]

They resided Douglas, MA.
