Jason8 Whitney (Ohio7, Silas6, Samuel5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Ohio7 and Mary (Bolton) Whitney, was born 10 Feb 1811, Ashburnham, MA,[1] and died 16 May 1880, Westminster, MA, aged 69 years of brights of kidney.[2]

He married firstly, 4 May 1836, Ashburnham, MA, Elizabeth Laws Sampson,[3] daughter of Jonathan and Betsey (Gibbs) Sampson. She was born 2 Nov 1818, Winchendon, MA, and died 5 Sep 1841, Ashburnham, MA, aged 22 years 10 months 3 days.[4]

He married secondly, 16 Aug 1842, Ashburnham, MA, Susan Elvira Barrett "of Montpelier, Vt."[5] She was born 12 May 1816, Montpelier, VT, or about 1820, Berlin, VT, and died 3 Apr 1857. Ashburnham, MA, aged 36 years, of consumption.[6]

He married thirdly, 14 Nov 1859, Esther Ball, daughter of Jesse and Charity (Carpenter) Ball. She was born 20 Sep 1821, North Ferrisburg, VT, and died 7 Dec 1877, Ashburnham, MA, aged 56 years 2 months 15 days, of rose cancer.[7]

He resided Westminster, MA.
