Henry H.8 Whitney (John7, Phinehas6 Whitney, Samuel5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of John7 and Sarah (Chapman) Whitney, was born 18 Jun 1838, Waterford, Washington County, Ohio, and died 26 Mar 1892, Washington, Page County, Iowa.
He married 21 Jan 1860, Washington County, Ohio, Elizabeth Anderson, daughter of James and Catherine (Hoglin) Anderson. She was born 1840, Ohio, and died 1916, Washington, Page County, Iowa.
In the 1880 Census, his brother George B. was living with them.
