Timothy Palmer8 Whitney (Timothy Palmer7, Moses6, Ezra5, James4, John3, Jonathan2, John1), son of Timothy Palmer7 and Susanna (Mann) Whitney, was born 26 Dec 1816, Foxborough, MA,[1] and died 8 Jun 188[ ].

He married, before 1838, Emeline8 Whitney, daughter of John Andrews7 and Susan (King) Whitney.[2] She was born 3 Apr 1819, Columbia Co., NY, and died 10 Apr 1882. They were first cousins.

He resided Brooklyn, NY.

Both paintings are under glass in ornate gilt oval frames. Both paintings have attached labels on verso that read "Timothy Palmer Whitney, Jr. son/of T.P. Whitney & Susan his wife/Dec. 26th, 1816-June 8th 188?" and "Emeline Whitney daughter of John/Andrew Whitney & Susan King, his/wife./April 3rd 1819-April 10th 1882". 8.5" x 6.5". 12.75" x 10.75" framed."
