He married firstly, 14 Apr 1844, Durham, ME, Cynthia Rideout Blethen,[2] both of Durham, daughter of Jonathan and Mary (Rideout) Blethen. She was born 26 Feb 1823, Dover-Foxcroft, ME.
He married secondly, 18 Dec 1852, Lewiston, ME, Mary Ellen (Strout) Corbett "both of Durham",[3] daughter of Jonathan and Sarah (Vining) Strout. She was born 26 Aug 1825, Durham, ME, and died 23 Oct 1902, Cambridge, MA. She had married firstly, 31 May 1846, Horace L. Corbett, son of Horace and Catherine Corbett. He was born 28 Oct 1821 in Walpole, MA, and d. 13 Nov 1847. He is buried in the Lisbon Cemetery, Lisbon, ME.
