Orange9 Whitney (John8, Joseph Glazier7, Abner6, Samuel5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of John8 and Eliza (Cushing) Whitney, was born 16 Mar 1849, Westminster, MA,[1] and died after 1887.
He married firstly, 4 Jan 1875, Amherst, MA, or 5 Jan 1875, Ashburnham, MA, Laura M. Collester, of Gardner, MA, daughter of Thorley and Abigail Marie8 (Whitney) Collester,[2] and granddaughter of Joseph7 and Nancy (Sawin) Whitney. They were seventh cousins. She was born 17 Dec 1849,[3] Gardner, MA, and died 28 Jan 1885, Winchendon, MA, aged 35 years 1 month 11 days, buried at Gardner, MA.[4]
He married secondly, 28 Dec 1887, Winchendon, MA, Ida F. Smith, daughter of George and Sophronia M. (-----) Smith. She was born about 1865, Winchendon, MA.
