Joshua6 Whitney (Joshua5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Joshua5 and Mehitable (Wilson) Whitney,[1] was born 11 Nov 1758, Spencer, Massachusetts,[2], and died 18 Nov 1850, Pike, Allegany County, New York.
He married 7 Jun 1781, Spencer, Massachusetts, Esther Prouty. She was born 11 Jun 1764, Spencer, Massachusetts, and died in Langdon, New Hampshire.
He married secondly, in 1790, Electa Sawtell.
