Orson⁸ Whitney (Aaron Parker⁷, Aaron⁶, Benjamin⁵, Joseph⁴, Joseph³, Jonathan², John¹), son of Aaron Parker⁷ and Phyrilla (Durkee) Whitney, was born 4 Jan 1843, North Tunbridge, VT, and died 24 Jul 1915. He is buried in Durkee Cemetery, Tunbridge, VT.

He married firstly, 8 Nov 1869, Corinth, VT, Emily M. Hanson, daughter of John and Mahala (-----) Hanson.^[1] She was born 22 Feb 1843, and died 14 Jan 1875.

He married secondly, 1 Feb 1876, South Royalton or Tunbridge, VT, Laura F. Jones, daughter of Silas B. and Susan (Griffith) Jones.^[2] She was born 13 May 1851, and died 1929, Orange Co., VT.
