Ambrose6 Whitney (Henry5, Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Henry5 and Abigail (Walker) Whitney, was born 28 Jul 1806, Chesterville, ME, and died 19 Feb 1870, Lowell, MA, aged 63 years 7 months 22 days, of paralysis.[1]
He married firstly, Nancy -----. She was born 21 Mar 1804, and died 9 Dec 1835, Chesterville, ME.
Ambrose "Whiten" married secondly, 5 May 1836, Kennebec Co., ME, Lucy Ann Bennett, daughter of William and Rachel (Lenscott) Bennett. She was born 18 Mar 1814, Chesterville ME, and died 4 Jan 1906, Boston, MA, aged 91 years 9 months 17 days, of general paresis.[2]

Granville Sharpe Patterson Whitney, b. 24 Jun 1834, Chesterville, ME, d. 10 Jun 1854, Lowell, MA, aged 20 years, of consumption.[3]
Ambrose6 and Lucy A. (Bennett) Whitney had no known children.
