Karl H.9 Whitney (Levi8, Harvey7, David6, Roswell5, David4, David3, Joshua2, John1 ), son of Levi8 and Laura A. (Dunn) Whitney,[1] was born 21 Mar 1889, Delta, Keokuk, IA, and died 29 Mar 1976, Kirksville, Adair, MO.[2]

He married 31 Oct 1908, in Connelsville, MO, Iva O. Shumate, daughter of William B. and Mary A. Shumate. She was born 24 July 1892 and died 25 Mar 1985.[3]

They lived in Keokuk Co., IA, Novinger, MO, and Kirksville, MO.
