He married, 14 Mar 1864, Adams, MA, Mary Ellen Cooney, daughter of Patrick and Sarah (-----) Cooney.^[2] She was born about 30 Jun 1841, Benson, VT, and died 5 Nov 1903, North Adams, MA, aged 62 years 5 months 5 days, of "shock - nephritis".^[3]
