Robert S.8 Whitney (Ebenezer F.7, Peter6, Abraham5, Benjamin4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Ebenezer F.7 and Sarah (Small) Whitney, was born about Nov 1836, ME, and died 11 Feb 1878, Litchfield, ME, aged 41 years 4 months. He is buried in Litchfield Plains Cemetery, Litchfield Plains, ME.[1]

He married firstly, 25 Jun 1859, Litchfield, ME, Almira/Miza E. Hall.[2]

He married secondly, 21 Sep 1862, Litchfield, ME, Nancy J. Chase, daughter of William and Mary Jane (Alexander) Chase. She was born 24 Sep 1840, probably Litchfield, ME, and died 2 Feb 1867, aged 26 years 2 months. She is buried in Litchfield Plains Cemetery, Litchfield Plains, ME.[3]

He married thirdly, between 1867 and 1869, Leattea A. Bradstreet, daughter of ----- and Elizabeth (-----) Bradstreet. She was born 1838, ME, and died 1911. She is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Richmond, ME.[4]
