Charles Sumner8 Whitney (James Frothingham8, Nathaniel Ruggles7, Nathaniel Ruggles6, Simon5, Daniel4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of James Frothingham8 and Mary Henderson (Eskildson) Whitney, was born 7 Nov 1855, Brooklyn, NY, and died 25 Jan 1918, New York, NY.
He married firstly, Mary Gardner Brown. She was born about 1860, and died before 1910.
He married secondly, 15 Dec 1910, Dallas, TX, Florence (Craig) Groce. She had married firstly J. S. Groce.
He was living in Brooklyn, NY, in 1895. Not found in the 1880 census.
