Joshua Clark Whitney (Joshua, Elijah), son of Joshua2 and Polly (Clark) Whitney, was born about 1810, Nelson, NY, and "Joseph Clark Whitney" died 25 Sep 1898, Milton, VT, aged 88 years, of senile pneumonia, son of Joshua, born Nelson, NY.
He appears in records as "Clark".
He married, before 1835, Mary "Polly" Lane, daughter of Ebenezer and Betsey Caroline (Hazelton) Lane. She was born 17 Sep 1810, NY, and died Dec 1875.
