Oreson A.8 Whitney (Luke7, William6, William5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Luke7 and Cynthia (Partridge) Whitney, was born 12 Jan 1806, Gardner, MA.[1] He died 10 Jan 1892, Richmondville, NY and is buried in Portlandville, Otsego, NY.[2]
He married, first, Amanda Chase. She remarried Homer Blackman and they resided in Brooklyn, NY, Mankato, MN, and Leavenworth, KS. She died San Jose, CA and is buried at Mount Muncie Cemetery in Lansing, KS.
