Jonathan6 Whitney (Joseph5, Benjamin4, Joseph3, John2, John1), son of Joseph5 and Mary (Child) Whitney, was born 12 Apr 1743, Watertown, MA.
He married, 10 Oct 1765, Susanna Norcross. She was baptized 27 Jul 1746.
During the Revolutionary war he was in the Watertown company; resided Watertown, MA.
Children of Jonathan6 and Susanna (Norcross) Whitney:
i. Susanna7 Whitney, b. 23 May 1766. ii. Mary Whitney, b. 10 Jan 1768. iii. Jonathan Whitney, b. 15 Dec 1769; m. Lucy Parks. iv. Joseph Whitney, b. 16 Jun 1774. v. Samuel Whitney, b. 6 May 1776.
