Family:Whitney, Ephraim (1740-1775)

Ephraim⁶ Whitney (John⁵, John⁴, Joseph³, John², John¹), son of John⁴ and Sarah (Cutting) Whitney,^[1] was born 16 Apr 1740, Sudbury, MA,^[2] and died 16 Sep 1775, Cambridge, MA, "accidentally shot".^[3]

He married, 4 Jul 1765, Dedham, MA, Mary Reed,^[4] possibly the same as the daughter Mara Reed, of Josiah and Elizabeth (Williams) Reed,^[5] who was born 2 Mar 1747, Needham, MA.^[6] Whoever she was, her date and place of death are unknown.
