Census

  • 1790: not found. A possibility is 1790, Southwick, Hampshire Co., MA: Jonathan Whitney, 1 male over 16 and 2 females. He is on the same page as Benjamin Whitney, also otherwise unidentified, who might be his father.
  • 1800, Southwick, Hampshire Co., MA: Jonathan Whitney, 1 male over 45 and 1 female over 45. This is surely the same man is in the 1790 census at Southwick.
