William Barrett8 Whitney (Phineahas7, William6, William5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Phineahas7 and Bethiah (Barrett) Whitney, was born 14 Jun 1801, Winchendon, MA,[1] and died 15 Feb 1874, Winchendon, MA.

Marriage intentions were published 2 Dec 1827, Winchendon, MA, for him and Louise Stone "of Fitzwilliam, N.H."[2] He married, 20 Dec 1827, Lois M. Stone, daughter of David and Ruth (Mellen) Stone. She was born 25 May 1802, Greensborough, VT,[3] and died 20 Oct 1870, Vineland, NJ.
