Lemuel A. Whitney, parentage unknown, was born about 1802, MA, and died after 1850.

He married 3 Feb 1831, Methuen, MA,[1] Sarah Tarbox, daughter of James Tarbox. She was born about 1804, NH, and died after 1850.

They lived in Methuen, MA, and Hudson, NH.

He was a farmer.

Children of Lemuel A. and Sarah (Tarbox) Whitney:

i. Sarah Elizabeth Whitney, b. 4 Feb 1843, Methuen, MA;[2] d. after 1850.
ii. Samuel Edward Whitney, b. 1 Mar 1845, Methuen, MA;[3] apparently d. before 1850.
