Simeon⁷ Whitney (Reuben⁶, Abel⁵, Nathan⁴, Nathaniel³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Reuben⁶ and Mercy (Baker) Whitney, was born 6 May 1799, Litchfield, ME, and died 27 Feb or 27 Mar 1859, Gardiner, ME, aged 59 years.^[1]

He married, 15 Oct 1825, Litchfield, ME, or 20 Not 1825, Hallowell, ME, Sally White. She was born about 1799, ME, and died -- --- 1870, Gardiner, ME.^[2]

He was a turner, and lived in Litchfield and Gardiner, ME.
