Family:Whitney, Robert Parker (1826-1902)

Robert Parker Whitney (Ebenezer, Ebenezer, [perhaps] Samuel⁴, John³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Ebenezer and Charlotte (Parker) Whitney, was born 15 Aug 1826, Whitney, NB, and died 11 Dec 1902, Whitney, NB.

He married, 10 Feb 1853, North Esk Parish, NB, Zilpha Rogers, adopted daughter of Anthony Rogers and Hannah Adams. She was born about 1827, NB, and died 28 Feb 1913.

He was also known as H. P. He was a lumberman and farmer, he was on the county council in the 1870s. His niece, Charlotte "Lottie" Bray lived with them.

Children of Robert Parker and Zilpha (Rogers) Whitney:

i.	Elizabeth H. Whitney (adopted), b. circa 1876, NB; "Bessie"; m. Feb 1913, Melvin C. Stewart. She lived at Whitney, NB.

This family would be recorded in Canadian censuses, not yet examined, with the following exceptions:
