William7 Whitney (David St. John6, Henry5, Henry4, Henry3, John2, Henry1), son of David St. John6 and Lois (Northrop) Whitney, was born 21 Aug 1831, and died after 1910.

He married, Caroline Marie Underwood, daughter of Bushrod Washington and Mary Martha (Mills) Underwood. She was born 15 Jul 1835, New Marlboro, MA, and died 14 Apr 1915, Delaware Co., NY. She was buried in Ouleout Cemetery, Franklin, NY.

He resided Franklin, NY, in Jun 1874.
