Family:Whitney, James Madison (1819-1901)

James⁷ Whitney (Charles⁶, Jonathan⁵, James⁴, Joseph³, Jonathan², John¹), son of Charles⁶ and Abigail (Smith) Whitney, was born 4 Jan 1819, Brookfield, VT, and died after 1880.

He married, before 1841, Jerusha Wadenburg. She was born about 1822, VT, and died 27 Aug 1875, Bristol, VT, aged 54 years.^[1] She is buried with two sons in Greenwood Cemetery, Bristol, VT.

He resided Bristol, VT.

iii.	Charles B. Whitney, b. ca. 9 Jun 1846, Bristol, VT; d. 5 Dec 1887, Adams, MA, aged 41 years 5 months 26 days, of intestinal obstruction;[3] bur. White River Junction, VT; m. 4 Jul 1872, VT, Harriet A. Chadwick.
iv.	James Whitney, b. ca. Nov 1849, VT; d. 3 Sep 1851, Bristol, VT, aged 21 months.[4]
