George Whitney, Gent., parentage unknown but perhaps descended from George and Julian (-----) Whitney. He was probably the "Geo. Whitney, of Icombe, Worcs., gent. Aged 52" who was a deponent in a Chancery deposition in 1626, making him born circa 1574.[1]
Were they the "Geo Whitney and Mary Sabedy" who were married at Icomb in 1608?

Walter Whitney, bp. 24 Sep 1634, Church Iccombe, Gloucestershire, England.
