Austin9 Whitney (Seth8, William7, William6, William5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Seth8 and Sally (Wood) Whitney, was born 27 Feb 1819, Gardner, MA,[1] and died 1 Nov 1851, Gardner, MA, aged 32 years 8 months 5 days, farmer, of abcess of the lungs.[2]
He "of Gardner" married, 26 Dec 1843, Petersham, MA, Maria H. Allen[3] of Petersham, daughter of George and Hannah (Holland) Allen. She was born 7 Aug 1826, Hardwick, MA, and died 17 Jan 1860, Gardner, MA, aged 33 years 5 months 6 days, of scroffula.[4]
John P. Allen of Gardner was appointed guardian to Ellen Maria in Feb 1860.
He resided Gardner, MA.
