ix.	Silas Whitney, b. ca. 1837, LA. In 1860 he was residing with W. R. and Lizzy A. Barry in Barehouse, Drew Co., AR. He was listed as a waggoner. He may have been the same man as the following: WHITNEY, Silas, b. possibly Drew Co., AR, fought in the Civil War, and m. Mary Ann Elizabeth Casan Olvazina JOHNSON. He d. Jan 1897 in Greenville, Hunt Co., TX. They had Caledonia, b. 1875, AR, and James Eliphalet "Fay", b. 1880, TX. Also, Mary Lou b. 23 Dec 1863 AR d. 30 Apr 1944, Burkburnett, TX, Julia b. 9 Aug 1865, d. 23 Aug 1910, Dallas TX, Thomas Alfred b.4 Mar 1868, d. 29 Jan 1941 El Paso, TX, and daughter b. 1877-1878 d. 1879-1880 Tarrant Co. TX
