Watson Clock7 Whitney (Jonathan Rasselas6, Samuel Platt5, Uriah4, Nathan3, John2, Henry1), son of Jonathan Rasselas6 and Maria Louise (Moore) Whitney, was born 18 Mar 1838, Montville, OH, and died after 1874.
He married, 26 Feb 1867, 94 East Walnut Street, New Lisbon, OH, Martha Jane Rogers, daughter of George Augustus and Ann (Shinn) Rogers. She was born 18 Jul 1848, New Lisbon, OH, and died after 1874.
Phoenix says the following:
- ". . . a shoe-manufacturer . . . . He left his father's house about 20 Nov. 1857; went to Garrettsville, Ohio, which he made his home for nine years, during which time he spent one year in Ravenna, Ohio, and Coldwater, Mich.; lived in New Lisbon from Nov. 1866 to 1 Ap. 1870; and then removed to Portland, Mich., where he lived in 1874."
