Frederick Henry⁷ Whitney (John⁶, Timothy⁵, Daniel⁴, Jonathan³, Jonathan², John¹), son of John⁶ and Silence (Holbrook) Whitney, was born circa 1816, Boston, Suffolk Co., MA, and died after 1860. He was a soap and candle manufacturer.

He married, 29 Feb 1840, SC, Sarah Church Anthony, daughter of Captain J. C. Anthony.^[1] She was born circa 1815, SC, and died after 1860.
