James P.2 Whitney (James1), son of James1 and Elizabeth (Dooling) Whitney, was born 9 Aug 1854, Brigus, Newfoundland, and died 15 Jan 1926, Boston, MA.

He married, 23 Oct 1888, Boston, MA, Mary Bridget Ryan, daughter of David and Mary (-----) Ryan.[1] She was born about 1864, Brigus, Newfoundland, and died 1923, Boston, MA.

In 1890 he was a laborer living at 98 Linden Park, Boston, MA. In 1892 he was living at 100 Halleck St., Boston, MA. In 1893 he was a laborer living at 24 Ice Court, Boston, MA. In 1900-1901 he was a laborer living at 3 Hunter St., Boston, MA. In 1905 he was a longshoreman living at 67 Decatur St., Boston, MA. In 1907 he was a longshoreman living at 101 Decatur St., Boston, MA.
