Nancie⁸ Whitney (Thomas⁷, Phinehas⁶, Samuel⁵, William⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), daughter of Thomas⁷ and Hannah (Preston) Whitney, was born Oct 1832, Indiana, and died after 1880.

She married, 13 Jan 1857, Delaware County, Indiana, William M. Johnson, parentage unknown. He was born about 1813, Virginia, and died after 1880.

In the 1880 Census, Indiana, Delaware County, Delaware Township, p. 324D, is found:
