Austin9 Whitney (Seth8, William7, William6, William5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), born Gardner, Massachusetts, 27 Feb 1819; married Dec., 1843, Maria Allen of Petersham. John P. Allen of Gardner was appointed guardian to Ellen Maria in Feb. 1860. He died Oct. 1851; resided Gardner, Massachusetts.
Children of Austin9 Whitney:
i. Austin10 Whitney, born 29 Jun 1847; died 5 Jul 1849. ii. Ellen Maria Whitney, born 16 Oct 1850; married Mashall Miles. She died Feb., 1890.
