Family:Whitney, Thomas (1780-1862)

Thomas⁶ Whitney (Benjamin⁵, Joseph⁴, Joseph³, Jonathan², John¹), son of Benjamin⁵ and Rebecca (Fitch) Whitney, was born 15 Jul 1780, Pepperell, MA.^[1]

Marriage intentions were published, 6 Jan 1806, Pepperell, MA, for him and Betsey Wallis "of Tunbridge".^[2] He married firstly Betsey Wallis. She was born 20 Jul 1784, and died 5 Feb 1826.

He married secondly, 13 Apr 1827, Brookfield, VT, Annie York. She was born 25 Aug 1794, and died 9 Jun 1884.

He resided Tunbridge, VT.

Smith; Thomas Whitney, b. 11 Nov 1849; m. 1872, Emma Blake.
iii.	David Whitney, b. 11 Mar 1812; m. Maria Smith.
iv.	Harriett Whitney, b. 15 Nov 1818.
v.	John Whitney, b. 18 Dec 1821; m.(1) Lorinda Bragman; m.(2) Eunice Martin.
vi.	Thomas Whitney, b. 20 Feb 1824; d. 29 Jun 1862; m. ----- -----; a son, Willis; resided North Tunbridge. Willis was with his grandparents in 1860, age 9.
