Family:Whitney, Aaron (1786-1860)
Aaron6 Whitney (Benjamin5, Joseph4, Joseph3, Jonathan2, John1), son of Benjamin5 and Rebecca (Fitch) Whitney, was born 22 Feb 1786, Pepperell, MA,[1] and died 22 Feb 1860, Tunbridge, VT.
He married, 6 Jun 1815, Pepperell, MA, Betsey Parker.[2] She was born 13 Jan 1796, and died 18 Jan 1867.
He was born in Pepperell, MA, and soon after his marriage moved to Tunbridge, VT. There he erected a temporary log cabin until he could make the brick and build a house in which he ever afterwards resided. The place is known to this day as Whitney Hill. Aaron was a farmer. He resided Pepperell, MA, and Tunbridge, VT.

He is a farmer; was b. 16 Sep 1814. - Ch.: Willis Whitney, b. 28 Jul 1845; m. 18 Oct 1867; d. 22 Mar 1888; William Henry, b. 5 Oct 1847; m. 9 Sep 1873, Middlebury, Addison County, VT; Daniel Webster, b. 18 Feb 1852; m. 17 Jun 1891, -----, Bethel, Windsor County, VT.
