Family:Whitney, Villeroy Glover (1828-a1910)

Villeroy Glover⁷ Whitney (Josiah Clark⁶, Josiah⁵, Henry⁴, Josiah³, John², Henry¹), son of Josiah Clark⁶ and Esther Eunice (Mosier) Whitney, was born 12 Aug 1828, Newtown, CT, and died after May 1873.

He married, 12 Jul 1852, New York, NY, Maria Murphy, daughter of ----- and Margaret (Kerrigan) Murphy.

Phoenix says the following:

". . . a sail-maker . . . . They dwelt at New York for several years; and then moved to Bridgeport, where (or in East Bridgeport, Conn.) they were living in May 1873."
