p. 42, #268: Jonas5 WHITNEY was born 15 Dec 1703, according to Watertown vital records, volume 2, page 28. He was baptized 17 Jun 1711, Watertown, MA.
p. 42, #269: James5WHITNEY was also baptized 17 Jun 1711, Watertown, MA.
p. 42, #270: There was no son Israel5 WHITNEY in this family. Instead, this was Israel4 WHITNEY [Ebenezer3, Richard2, John1].
p. 42, #271: Susanna4 WHITNEY was born in 1707 or 1708, since she was in her fourth year at the time of her baptism. She had an illegitimate daughter Mary5 WHITNEY, father unknown, born 29 Dec 1732, Weston, MA, baptized 13 Dec 1733, Weston, MA. According to Bond's Watertown, volume 1, page 262, the child given as Abigail by Pierce was actually named Abijah, which is confirmed by Weston vital records.
