p. 46, #325: Nathaniel COOLIDGE died 24 Dec 1773, Watertown, MA.
p. 46, #328: Henry5 WHITNEY was born 31 Dec 1738, not 3 Dec 1738, according to Watertown vital records, volume 3, page 116. He did not marry Hannah TOMBS. Instead he had died before 1 Jun 1770 without surviving issue, since neither he nor his heirs is mentioned in his father's will. It was Henry6 WHITNEY, #874 on page 76 who married Hannah TOMBS and had the family described on page 78.
p. 46, #330: Lydia5 WHITNEY was baptized 10 Apr 1743, according to Watertown vital records, volume 4, page 147. She died without surviving issue before 1 Jun 1770, since neither she nor her heirs is mentioned in her father's will.
p. 46, #333: Pierce does not give the second marriage of Lucy6 (WHITNEY) DANA. She married secondly 2 Nov 1800, Watertown, MA, Samuel WHITTEMORE, as his second wife, according to the Whittemore genealogy, page 246.
p. 46, #102: If his age at death is accurate, Moses4 WHITNEY was born 15 Jun 1689, not in 1690. He had three wives: Lydia TAYLOR, Elizabeth -----, and widow Sarah (SHED) HUTCHINS. Sarah GEARY married his grandson Moses6 WHITNEY [Ephraim5, Moses4, Moses3, Richard2, John1], #943 on page 80.
p. 46, #336: Jonathan and Sarah5 (WHITNEY) WOOD had seven children born in Lunenburg, MA, according to Lunenburg vital records. Of these, only the three listed by Pierce were living 12 Jul 1774 at the time of their grandfather's will, in which they were mentioned.
p. 46, #339: Bezaleel5 WHITNEY died 6 May 1730, according to Littleton vital records.
p. 46, #340: Lydia5 WHITNEY was born 26 Apr 1719, Littleton, MA, and married Samuel TAYLOR of Templeton, 9 Apr 1741, Littleton, MA, according to Littleton vital records.
p. 46, #341: Mary5 WHITNEY was born 30 Jul 1729, according to Littleton vital records. She and John WHITE had six children born in Lunenburg, MA.
p. 46, #103: Abraham4 WHITNEY married secondly on 16 Jul 1767, Stow, MA, widow Elizabeth (FARLEY) SHED of Harvard, widow of John SHED.
