I have been interested in family history since I was about 8, when my dad purchased 2 volumes by Worrell B. Prescott, which traced Agnes Vivia Whitney back to several 1620 Pilgrims. I joined the Mormon Church at age 23 (1973) and became more interested, and began actively researching. In 2004-2007, my husband and I served a 3 year mission at the Family History Library, International Floor for 2.5 years, and then we opened the Zone which is digitizing family history books for the Salt Lake Family History Library. Currently, we are serving as 2nd tier product support and as support for the New FamilySearch for the Church. A word of caution, we have not been able to prove as much as we would like of our own family history, because we are helping others with theirs so much of the time. We are also the parents of 10 children.
