Lyman Hubbard8 Whitney (Solomon7, Nathaniel6, Samuel5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Solomon7 and Lucy (Lyman) Whitney, was born 2 Jul 1814, and died 2 Feb 1883, Sunderland, MA, aged 68 years 6 months, of chronic diarrhea.[1]
He married firstly, about 1838, Emeline Lucinda Goodnow, daughter of Major William and Sybil (Arms) Goodnow. She was born 17 Jan 1815, Whitingham, VT, and died 1866.
He married secondly, between 1866 and 1869, ----- -----, deduced from his third marriage record. She died before 1869.
He "of Sunderland" married thirdly, 16 Aug 1869, Sunderland, MA, Delcena M. (Sanders) Sheldon "of Southampton", daughter of Lemuel and Sylvia or Liddy (Woodis) Sanders. She was born about 1822, Rutland, MA.[2] She had married firstly, about 1847, Joseph Ebenezer Sheldon (1825-1857).
He resided Whitingham, VT.
