Williams7 Whitney (Eliab T.6, Josiah5, John4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Eliab T.6 and Lydia (Williams) Whitney, was born 30 Aug 1835, Newcastle, ME; d. 19 January 1898 in Bath, ME.He is buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Bath, ME.

He married, 7 Jul 1859 in Newcastle, ME, Rosalinda Harlow Merry, dau. of Hiram and Elizabeth (Trask) Merry She was born 2 Jun 1839 in Edgecomb, ME; d. 17 May 1913 in Bath, Me. She is buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Bath, ME.

He resided Bath, ME, 136 Commercial St. He came to Bath in 1874.

ii. Walter Lee Whitney, b. 11 May 1882 in Bath, ME, d. 26 January 1943 in Bath, ME; resided Bath, ME, where he was the City Marshall; never married.
iii. Calista Annie Whitney, b. 6 Dec 1859, d. 11 October 1923 in Bath, ME; m. 24 Nov 1877 in Bath, ME, James T. Graham, b. abt. 1855 in ME. His parents were born in Scotland, and he was a blacksmith. They had two known children:

1. Clara Graham, b. June 1878, m. Alden P. Denham 2. Ethel M. Graham, b. August 1879, m. Clarence E. Reed

iv. Rose E. Whitney, b. 23 Aug 1863 in Edgecomb, ME, d. 26 October 1936 in Bath, ME; m. 2 Dec 1885, Thomas W. Leydon; resided 168 Water St., Bath, ME.
