Martha (Tilton) Whitney is buried in the Strong Village Cemetery in Strong, ME.

Ezra m. secondly 26 December 1862 in Steuben, ME Abigail Jane Watts, b. in 1833 in Steuben, ME, the dau. of Joseph Tupper and Hannah (Wakefield) Watts.

By the 1850 census, after the death of Martha, Ezra was residing in Steuben, ME, where he was a painter. After his second marriage he removed to Freeman by 1854 (1860 census) and Skowhegan by 1870, where he was a carpenter.
