- Tolbert Whitney, b. ca. 1823 or 1833, MO, resided Barry Co., MO, had a son Wade Whitney. He was perhaps related to Family:Whitney, Joseph (1812-1869) of Barry Co., MO
- Wade H. Whitney, b. ca. 1827, m. Melissa Combs, resided Holt Co., MO, and Richardson Co., NE. He was perhaps related to Family:Whitney, Thomas (1819-?)
- Thomas J. Whitney, b. ca. 1845, MO, resided Holt Co., MO & Richardson Co., NE. Had a son Wade Whitney.
- Wade Whitney, of MS & Indian Territory, m. Susan -----, supposedly a Choctaw Indian. Their son William Whitney m. ----- -----, a full-blooded Choctaw Indian, b. Doaksville, Choctaw Nation. Their children were James H. Whitney and Emily J. Whitney, m. 1872, Sherman, TX Nathan B, Zumwalt.
