Family:Whitney, John Stone (1783-1850)

John Stone⁶ Whitney (Daniel⁵, Daniel⁴, Jonathan³, Jonathan², John¹), son of Daniel⁵ and Katy (Stone) Whitney,^[1] was born 20 Jun 1783, Marlborough, MA,^[2] and died after 1840.

He married, 30 Apr 1809, Martha Woodbridge, daughter of William and Martha (Patterson) Woodbridge. She was born 12 Jun 1787, and died 4 Sep 1870.

iii.	Mary Whitney, b. 13 May 1816, NY; d. 1898; m. Abel A. Simmons, b. 1814, d. 1893. Both are buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Canton, NY.
